Summary:
We are seeking a Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and be comfortable handling cash transactions in a retail environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them in finding products - Process sales transactions accurately using a cash register or POS system - Maintain a clean and organized checkout area - Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products - Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves - Upsell products and services to customers - Handle customer complaints or issues with professionalism and empathy Skills:
- Experience in jewelry sales is a plus - Proficient in basic math for cash handling - Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transactions - Knowledge of electronics sales is beneficial - Excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone - Prior experience in retail sales is preferred - Strong customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction - Ability to handle cash accurately and efficiently - Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic retail environment, develop valuable customer service skills, and grow within the company.
