As a Leisure Consultant you will provide customers with a full range of travel planning services, helping them to discover just the right vacation packages, travel specials, restaurants, tours, cruises and shore excursions. We are a tight-knit office that blends a fast pace with a casual atmosphere.
As a Corporate Travel Consultant you will be assisting our valued corporate travelers with both domestic and international reservations. Familiarity with the Concur on-line booking tool a plus. Candidate must be a conscientious, customer service oriented and possess great attention to detail.

Job Responsibilities
As a Leisure Travel Consultant, you will provide valued customers with professional assistance in planning for both domestic and international vacations. Your experience selling cruises, escorted tours, independent vacations, multi-generational travel, destination weddings and honeymoons will be the key to ensuring that nothing is left to chance and that each customer's vacation is everything that they hoped it would be.
Your specific duties will include:
Organizing individual and group travel plans
Maintaining current expert knowledge of travel destinations around the world
Building a strong referral network
Providing new marketing ideas and strategies to win and retain new business
Planning and assisting with after-hours vendor and niche market events designed to gain exposure and build leads
Developing your individual expertise as a destination specialist
Following up with both current and potential customers
Applying your knowledge of social media to marketing efforts, email blasts, etc.
Requirements
As a Travel Agent, you must be determined, optimistic, willing to learn, highly motivated and dedicated to providing world-class customer service. Your experience and your passion for the travel industry are a vital part of this role, as are your abilities to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining keen attention to detail. It is also important that you display excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to easily establish rapport and credibility with your clients.
Specific qualifications for the position include:
Active experience working in the travel industry at least 4 of the past 6 years (preferred)
Background in both corporate and leisure travel
Current social media knowledge
Extensive experience traveling to a variety of destinations
Knowledge of the top industry vendors
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Power Point and Excel

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
